Grace J Ward Illustration

I'm Grace J Ward an experienced Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Lecturer with a mind for clever ideas, detail and colour. All of my illustrations are created digitally using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos Pro Graphics Tablet. I work from a Native American inspired wooden cabin studio based in Hertfordshire, UK.

I have worked on a diverse range of projects within the worlds of advertising, packaging, publishing, marketing, indie games and more. I enjoy working with a variety of subject matters but I specialise in food and drink illustration. In 2016 I teamed up with the worlds first independent gin bottler — That Boutique-y Gin Company, creating label illustrations for their award winning bottles of gin. In 2017 the brand won gold and silver medals at the Design & Packaging Masters as well as Best Design and Packaging for Spirits at The Drinks Business Awards.

I have a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from the University of Hertfordshire, and I am a part-time lecturer at Hertford Regional College teaching Foundation Degree Creative Enterprise.
